Vince Eager. Vince describes an amazing audition where young Liverpool lad Ronald Wycherley was put straight on stage at the Birkenhead Essoldo. He sang three songs he had written himself, Margo, Maybe Tomorrow and Don't Knock Upon My Door. The audience went wild with delight and Ronnie became an imediate sucess as Billy Fury. Vince calls his tribute "My Pal Bill". Filmed by Michael Parkinson for his Billy Fury Show. Vince knew Billy Fury better than anyone as a result of being part of the Larry Parnes Shows in the early 1960s. Vince came over to my house for me to film this tribute and would not accept any fee because my shows raise money for children's music therapy charity, Jessie's Fund, he is a true star and a genuine guy. Thank you very much Vince. Michael Parkinson
