Bill Haley & His Comets - Birth of the Boogie

This one was composed by Bill Haley, Billy Williamson and Johnny Grande, it was recorded on January 5th 1955 as a Decca single, when it was released it hit #17 on the Billboard chart and #18 on the Cash Box chart in April of 1955, it later appeared on Bill's album "Shake, Rattle and Roll" as track #8, that whole album is just superb and it was one of the first album length releases of the rock and roll era, predating the release of Elvis Presleys first album by almost a year, Bill was a man ahead of his time and oh so very talented too, love this one, enjoy, Dave :)
