BIG LATHE. HEAVY ENGINEERING. WELD REPAIRED ROLL

60 ton centre lathe. 8 ft chuck. 28 ft between chuck and centre. 7 ft centre height. Machining a 45 ton bloom and billet mill primary roll from corus scunthorpe. Fully welded barrel and journals,held between chuck and centre. This lathe is in my workplace in South Wales UK at a company called Tecweld. Lathe manufactured 1950 Dortmund Germany.
