BFR - Finding Upper Extremity LOP (no Doppler)

BFR - Finding Upper Extremity LOP (no Doppler)У вашего броузера проблема в совместимости с HTML5
Dr. Le Cara describes how to find Limb Occlusion Pressure (LOP) in the upper extremity if you do not have Doppler ultrasound. Using a doppler is recommended in the clinical setting but some users will choose not to. You can use the radial pulse to determine what pressure is required to fully occlude the blood flow. Steps: 1. Apply the cuff to the upper arm. Have the stem face forward. Use a protective sleeve (if needed). 2. Attach the pump to the cuff by depressing the metal valve. 3. Find the radial pulse (thumb side) on the front of the wrist. 4. Slowly inflate the cuff until you no longer feel the pulse. This is known as your LOP. 5. Typically we exercise at 40-50% LOP 6. If you need help, find a certified provider near you: https://www.smarttoolsplus.com/certified-providers/. 7. I also do virtual consultations if you need help:https://calendly.com/edlecara/virtual-consultation Always check with your health care provider if BFR is safe and appropriate for you.
