This story follows this theory: They left Beth's body at Grady's Because of the walkers and they believed she was dead. She actually survived to the shot and the doctors of Grady helped her to get a full recovery, but she doesn't want to stay in the hospital That even though she doesn't remember anything (a part from some scenes). So she escapes again and gets reunited with Rick, Rick brings her at Hilltop and Explains to Maggie & Daryl That she does not remember anything so they decide to not stress Beth.
