Best Android Indie Games | 2019 European Showcase

Reviews of some of the best new indie Android games which were shortlisted for the 2019 European Indie Showcase, as hosted by Google Play. These finalists were chosen by an expert panel and I had the chance to play all of the mobile games, which are available to download either now or later in 2019. Here's my pick of the twelve favourite indie titles from the show, covering a range of genres. Much of the shortlist was populated by puzzle games, well suited to your Android smartphone's screen, while I also reviewed some action, horror and arcade-style blasters. The majority can be played offline although very few are free to play.
