Ben Starr visits Thailand's "Hot Stream"

Ben Starr explores the "Hot Stream," a hot spring waterfall near Khlong Tom in Thailand's Krabi province. A hot (104F) rainforest stream drops in several limestone (travertine) terraces into a cool stream. This is one of my favorite hot springs in the world, and trust me...I'm a hot spring fanatic. It's about an hour from Krabi Town, and many package tours make a quick stop here after visiting the Emerald Pool. However, the BEST way to see it is by renting a motorcycle or moped in Krabi for $6 a day and going yourself. The best time to soak is right before closing time, around 6pm. The park staff don't seem to mind if you stay later. Bring small Baht for park entry and for cold drinks and snacks before entering.
