Bells of the Ukrainian Revolution: Ceremony marks two years since brutal police crackdown

It was exactly two years ago that Ukraine's Berkut riot police surrounded and stormed Kyiv's Independence Square - its about 10 minutes walk that way where you can see the Ukraina hotel. But those protesters who managed to escape came here - to St. Michael's Cathedral. For the first time in 800 years, on that day, the bells rang and we are here on the bell tower just overlooking the cathedral and its here we're commemorating that exact event today".
