being a hairy girl & why do women shave? some history | holisticmaya

I haven't shaven my armpits in over 5 years and I'm proud of this decision, because whenever I do shave, it's usually because I honestly feel like it. However, there are moments when I feel very uncomfortable and awkward showing my hairy armpits or legs because I get some weird stares and I can't really deal with that. I WISH I COULD! Women should feel beautiful whether they decide to shave their body hair or not.
