Bayelsa governorship Aspirants promise violence-free election

Some governorship aspirants of the Peoples Democratic Party have lent their voices to the advocacy against violence before, during and after the governorship election in Bayelsa state. At a function in Yenagoa, sponsored by the European Union, participants also urged the youth to shun overtures from politicians to cause violence capable of scuttling the electoral process. The 16th of November is the date for the Governorship election in Bayelsa, but before that, all participating political parties will conduct their primaries. As the state begins to witness political activities,the European Union is preaching non-violence at this programme in Yenagoa.
