Bassoon Concerto in F major. (Allegro 1st Movement) An Original Composition by M.Whitehouse

This is my 2nd Bassoon concerto which is scored for Bassoon, Oboes, Horns and strings. Although i did composed the other 2 movements, sadly they were lost due to my Ipad breaking. fortunately, i did manage to salvage the first movement. This movement (Allegro) is in the early-mid gallant style. The overall theme is short, simple and lyrical which exemplifies the clarity and joyful character of the Gallant style. This concerto is filled with hallmark, pretentious and tasteful classical ideologues-this in which is clearly demonstrated by the balanced clarity of the sting writing, the operatic song like qualities from the Bassoon and the overarching uniformed sonata form structure which encases the entirety of the work.
