Enhancing attack by bringing operational reserves and restoring Azerbaijan's territorial integrity". 4000-man personnel, 100 tanks, 77 armored vehicles, 125 artillery systems, 17 combat aircrafts, 12 combat helicopters and 4 transport-combat helicopters were involved in the exercise. The leadership of the exercise has set the following tasks: 1. Improving activities for planning the joint combat practice of the units of Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, Interior Troops of the Interior Ministry and State Border Service. 2. Achieving coordinated activity of the units of various security agencies, ensuring coordination and mutual relations among troops at various stages of the operation. 3. Coordinating the joint activities of the units of the Defense Ministry, Interior Troops of the Interior Ministry and State Border Service in conducting large-scaled operations, destroying the enemy units that intruded into the territory of the country. Questions were worked out on the practical management of air strikes and artillery systems, airborne assault, various kinds of troops and practice of special troops, the maintenance of the mutual relations among various units of security agencies was ensured in the main stage of the exercise on June 24. Azerbaijani President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev also watched the main stage of the exercise. The units involved in the exercises reached all the targets.
