It was a weekend full of..everything. We were invited as an organization to participate in the "All about Cats" festival, in Athens Greece. A very interesting and very interactive festival, along with other charities and rescue organizations, breeders, animal behaviourists, pet shop owners, food brands, vets, groomers and all sorts of cat people. Some of our rescued cats and kittens participated too, and they were given the opportunity to find their forever homes. It was an amazing experience, we had the chance to talk to a lot of people, promote and inform about what we believe in (adoption, TNR and respect for all cats). We are an organization that is involved mainly in rescuing pets (dogs and cats) and promoting animal welfare as a way of life. The stray cats in Greece are estimated to be about 5 million (and this is no joke). We, as a group, do our best, but spreading the word and informing people on how to care for the feral colony in their neighbourhood is very important.
If you did read the descripion please leave a comment. I'm always curious to know if people actually read it or not.
Thanks!!
