YouTube second d12 picked
This lock is equal ASSA d12, and the new standard household lock in Norway.
It featuring a tight d-shaped keyway. And has 6 security driverpins. All the keypins are all standard/normal, with two tips pr pin. Giving the key a total of 12 cuts. This gives it the name d12.
And there is no counter milling in the plug.
The new keyway gives you very little room to move around, with a pick. So it requires a very thin pick, with lots of string.
This new keyway, combined with tight tolerance, makes it a good lock, and a good locksport challenge.
Sorry about the bad focus during the gutting. But it all comes clear in the end.
