ASPIRE MEGHALAYA

In a bid to develop the confidence, aspirations and well being of our tribal youth of Meghalaya, the State government took the initiative of partnering with AVENUES, the state’s pioneering life coaching social enterprise, to launch the Aspire Meghalaya programme. The initiative was supported by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and is the first of its kind in the country. The goal was to empower youth with employable soft skills, encourage talent identification and aspiration recognition at an early age. Since Aspire Meghalaya’s launch in July, 2019, over 5,000 boys and girls have been impacted across several campuses in 8 districts of the state. The Results are very encouraging and new benchmarks have been set. We intend to carry on such programmes for the upliftment of our youth.
