ARTIST PASS: 03 GREEDO on Jail Time, New Music and 2Pac Controversy | Rolling Loud x Mass Appeal

“I’m about to be the most successful inmate in the world,” said 03 Greedo, puffing on a fat blunt and chilling in his trailer within the Rolling Loud artist compound at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. Before he begins serving a 20-year prison sentence on drug and gun charges, the prolific L.A. artist has been making the most of his time as a free man. So he was extremely disappointed when a missed flight meant that he could not perform at the Rolling Loud festival as planned. Still Greedo took time out to chat with Mass Appeal about how he’s handling all the stress in his final days of freedom. “You know I gotta go away for a little score,” he said. “But at least a n***a made it to that type of status.” Alluding to the controversy around his comments about Tupac Shakur, Greedo described himself as “the media troll,” adding: “They be just asking about artists that died when we was in elementary or preschool.
