A poem by the artist:
Self portrait -- Earth, Water and Fire
I lived near the Dead Sea where everything comes alive.
Huge pillars of minerals and salt
A fiery ball of sun, sending multi-rays
Brushing and stroking
The large blue canvas of the sea.
Water changing colors every minute of the day.
Up to the summit of the solid mountains,
Following their dark and heavy shadows,
Then back down into the valleys
Listening to the sweet giggle of the streams,
While they are making their way
Into the old sleepy sea.
Right there, where sound wakes the stillness,
Youth joins ancient
And sweet mixes with salt
I found my poetry.
I carry my poetry with me ever since
With great passion and some peace,
Etch it in my prints
Carve it in my pottery
And more is yet to come

Having lived for 15 years on the lowest point on the planet (the Dead Sea), I became greatly inspired by its natural beauty and intensity of its overwhelming presence. I have carried this always with all aspects of my art and poetry. My art works include pottery, sculpture, painting, printmaking and illustration. I am a member of the New York Society of Etchers, the New Rochelle Art Association and the Mamaroneck Artist Guild. My works have been exhibited at:
