ARRI Interview: Ante Cheng and Justin Chon about "Ms. Purple"

ARRI interviewed cinematographer Ante Cheng and director Justin Chon at Sundance Film Festival, where they spoke about their choices and experiences filming “Ms. Purple.” The indie film, inspired in part by Chon’s own life, follows two estranged siblings when they are reunited to care and pay for their dying father’s hospice care. Cheng talks about the visual style of the film, the color palette for the film, and how the ALEXA Mini allowed the filmmakers to make use of details hidden in the shadows.
