Apple Watch Series 1 - Unboxing and First Look What is going on guys Apple Fox here and what I’ve got in front of me is actually a brand new Apple Watch. And in this video I’m going to be doing unboxing of this Apple Watch. It’s the 42 mm, Sport version in space grey color and most importantly this is the series 1. It’s not the 2015 edition nor the series 2, because I thought that the series 1 would be the best for me. So as I said this is the 42 mm version, meaning this is the bigger one. There’s also 38 mm version, that one is actually a lot smaller so in case you have bigger hands and don’t want to look at a tiny screen, then definitely go for the bigger 42 mm version of Apple Watch. The body is space gray aluminium and the band is black, which creates a beatuful matte black look, that goes very well with the matte black iPhone 7 by the way. So let’s take a look at the box, on the front we have a small Apple logo and the watch logo right next to it, it’s quite hard to see it because, it doesn’t have any color. On this side we have nothing, here we have all of the information about the watch, everything I mentioned basically. Here again nothing and nothing here as well and on the bottom, there is so much written about it, so I’m not going to go through it. Let’s finally open it up, looks like we have the strap to easily open it, no we actually have to use our knife to cut the foil and get inside. The iPhone 7 already features the strap you can grab that helps you unpack it but here we don’t have it. Removing the plastic foil, just like everytime it’s a great feeling, I could honestly do this all day. So the strap I was talking about is actually inside under the foil, it’s there to help you with unpacking. So sliding the box out, we don’t see the watch rightaway but instead we have the paperwork on top of it and all we can see is the sentence Apple puts on every single of their product packagings and that is of course designed by Apple in California. Let’s pick up the lid and put the paperwork aside for a moment and take a look at the watch. It looks beautiful already the black color and everything, the display isn’t that shiny but that’s because the entire watch is wrapped around in plastic. Now when taking a look at the paperwork. The first thing we can see is this kind of user manual or something like that, but someone who buys this device probably knows how to use it, so I don’t think people will really use this thing. The most important is this right here, so when we open it up, you can see another band, it’s in the very same color but it’s little smaller so you can easly swap it out if it doesn’t fit. Next to it we have this magnetic charging puck, it is magnetic so you don’t need to plug in anything to the watch which is great, just imagine a huge lightning port on the Apple Watch, that would be awful. Here you have to pick the language you speak and want your Apple Watch to use, here you can also take use of the digital crown or you can scroll using your finger. Looks like we’re running low battery, so I’ll have to put it into a charger. Ok and now I’m pairing the watch to my iPhone.
