App Inventor 2 Tutorial - Animated Push Button

This tutorial shows you how to make a simple push button using the Z axis. This is an efficient way to switch between images as there are no unnecessary image loads. You load the images once and then simply change the Z axis so that they switch positions.The buttons are .png files as this allows their background transparency to work. Bear in mind that .png files are always bigger then .jpg files and so you should only use .png if you require background transparency.
