In this video I take another look at overclocking the Ryzen 1700 on the Gigabyte AX370 Gaming K5.
Unfortunately this time I wasn't able to run the memory anything higher than 2133Mhz (with either two or four memory sticks). At 3200Mhz, then it just crashed. The memory is Corsair CMK16GX4M2B32.
Please bare in-mind that the voltage in the BIOS screen was dynamic voltage, dont set it to 1.3 or 1.4, slowly add +0.05v and see if the system is stable with something like Prime95. For 3.7Ghz you might be able to do it with stock voltage, or an extra +0.05-0.1v. For 3.8Ghz, you might need +0.1-0.15v. For 3.9/4.0Ghz you need a lot more voltage; im not sure it worth it. The 1700 most you will get is 4.1Ghz. You also need to keep an eye on the temps, dont let them get pass 80c+. I also would not suggest going higher than 1.35/1.4v, otherwise you may cut-down the life-span of the chip. If you can run the
