Glinka's opera "Ruslan and Ljudmila". Recorded in 1907. The opera is based on the poem of the same name by Alexander Pushkin (1820). The Russian libretto was written by V. Shirkov, N. Kukolnik and N. Markevich, among others. A. Pushkin's death in the duel prevented him from writing the libretto himself as planned. Act 4. Ljudmila has been abducted by Chernomor, a flying dwarf. She is in his nice garden, full of beautiful trees and fairy birds. But she can not enjoy them, she misses beloved Ruslan. The picture: "Ljudmila in the Garden of Chernomor". Russian Porcelain.
