Matine is a Silvermoon x Matador danish warmblood mare born in 1997. The mare was bought by Blue Hors as a young filly. At the 2007 FEI World Cup in Las Vegas, Matine got injured by falling off the lorry ramp. The mare never really recovered from that injury and the horse was retired from competion. She was enjoying her life with a herd of other mares on her way to become a broodmare. In 2010, she broke her leg in the field and had to be put down. Helgstrand and Matine won the silver medal in the Freestyle at the 2006 World Equestrian Games.
