Date of travel: 1 October 2019
Class of travel: Coach
Cost of ticket: $53 (one-way)
Other Info:
I touched on it in the video but Amtrak's other train that operates on this route, the Acela Express, is quicker due to making less intermediate stops but, tickets on this train typically cost well in excess of $150.
Part of the reason that this train has such good punctuality (at least compared to Amtrak's other routes,) is down to Amtrak owning and thus having complete control over the track on the Northeast Corridor. On the other hand, Amtrak's other routes mainly operate on track owned by freight companies and, as such, are at the helm of these freight companies!
