Amputee Spotlight - Niki at Project Walk Denver

Niki suffered a below the knee amputation resulting from a 40 foot fall during a climbing accident. In the fall she broke her pelvis and cracked her helmet in half. She has spent countless hours in therapy but was constantly told what she couldn't do. Recently she started working with our Denver team to improve her gait and get back on the trail. She looks to become first female leg amputee to hike the almost 2,200 mile Appalachian Trail.
