A detailed walk-through of the new amphibious houseboat modifications, and the flaws encountered so far.
After breaking down for the first time on Cayuga Lake, it was time for some boat repairs and modifications. The old boat rudder broke off, so instead of repairing the broken rudder. it was a good opportunity to install a new boat rudder with a better design. Also, keep an ear out for the new boat whistle sound this summer, because we decided to install bells and whistles to the boat. These were fairly easy boat repairs, and this Amphibious Car Houseboat thing is running great on the water and the land again. Woo!
*The appropriately named “Beast of Burden,” is a merger between a 32ft houseboat (1967 Jeffboat Sunliner) and a 3-wheel tractor (Rickel “Big-A” Sprayer). Built by Theon of Theonomics. No rational reason why, he just thought it’d be cool.*
