American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer State Chair Orientation

State Chairs are volunteer physicians—most often surgeons—who serve as representatives of the Commission on Cancer (CoC) providing leadership and support to the CoC-accredited cancer programs and Cancer Liaison Physicians (CLPs) in their state or region. They are collaborators, innovators, and experts working with cancer programs, cancer professionals, and state coalitions to improve the quality of cancer care. They serve as an important resource for their CLPs. The following video is an orientation for you as a State Chair and an opportunity for you to learn more about your new role.
