AmCham Economic Summit set to strengthen U.S.-Kenya trade ties

Deals worth at least KSh10BN were signed on Thursday at the first ever American Chamber of Commerce Economic Summit to take place in Nairobi. The Kenyan Government was keen to sell the Big Four Agenda to American investors during the inaugural Summit. Kenya's Chapter of the American Chamber of Commerce is stepping on the gas to improve the trade relationship between the two nations, even as youth unemployment and corruption provide potent challenges to progress for East Africa's most diversified economy.
