"Am I Wolverine? WTF?!" Splinter Extraction

Fair warning, it's a bit blurry, but that's probably a good thing - and it doesn't undo the squick factor at all... The other day, I noticed an infection in my finger had started to come to a head, so, with a pair of sterilized nail clippers, I began to attempt to open the head and let it out - there was a dark speck in the head, so I tried to get it out, to no avail. No pus, no nothing. Therefore, I put some ointment and a bandaid on it. Two days later, this little guy pops out before I get a chance to hop in the shower. Why not see what happens? Can you get through the whole thing?! Can your friends?!!
