Alphabet Agencies of the US Federal Government

The "Alphabet Agencies" are independent establishments of the United States federal government which exist and function beyond the scope and jurisdiction of ordinary legislation and are NOT under the control of any agency, bureau or department of the executive, judicial or legislative branches of government.
