Written and directed by James Cameron and starring Sigourney Weaver as Ellen Ripley, the protagonist and sole survivor of Ridley Scott’s Alien, the film follows Ripley who is persuaded to head back to LV-426, the then barren moon where her crew encountered a hostile Alien that wiped them all out.
