ADDRESSABLE led strip vs DIRECT led strip

Not all LED strips are the same. These LED strips basically fall into two different categories direct LED strips and addressable LED strips. The addressable allows you to control each LED independently so if you wanted to make a chaser LED or where the LED moves from one LED to the next so it gives the appearance of motion then you Will need to choose this style. Of course they’re more expensive but it depends on what you need.
