Above knee Amputation

This patient has a history of poorly controlled diabetes and smokes. He has had multiple procedures to try to save his lower extremity. He recently had his foot amputated due to wet gangrene. He now comes in to have the formal amputation completed. This video covers the creation of an AKA or above knee amputation.
