A Week On The Wrist: The A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Annual Calendar

It’s no secret that A. Lange & Söhne makes a good watch. Heck, you could even go as far to say they make a magnificent watch. It’s also no secret that I love almost anything that A. Lange & Söhne makes, so before I start this story, I just want to get it out of the way that I like, nay, LOVE, the new 1815 Annual Calendar released by the German maker earlier this year. The 1815 Annual Calendar was kind of a sleeper hit. With other big releases like the Jaeger LeCoultre Master Control Collection, the A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk Decimal Strike, and the Panthère de Cartier, the 1815 Annual Calendar all but slipped through the cracks. I listed it as my favorite grail watch and after spending a full week with this watch I can attest that it makes a great daily wear.
