Amtrak's Capitol Limited #29 charges west, passing the Michigan Central Station in Jackson, Michigan on the first of September 2014. Today marked the station's 141st birthday, making it the oldest, continuously operated passenger rail station in America. Interestingly enough, the depot was opened on Labor Day and a Monday, which makes this scene even more unique.
