A green desert found along the coast of Peru

In the small town of Viru in Peru’s Sechura desert, climate change is actually welcomed. The melting of Andean glaciers has turned this area into lush farmland along with the help of an $825 million dollar irrigation project that covers 40,000 hectares. However, while the horizon looks green and plentiful, some fear that the glaciers, and the water they provide, will disappear in just a few decades. Correspondent Dan Collyns reports.
