A Bugs Land is set to close this year! Let’s check out all the rides! Disneyland Resort closures are always insane. Even the most ignored and hated attractions get so much love when they close, and I’m sure A Bugs Land will be no different! When it first opened as the first real DCA expansion, I really appreciated the great theming, but like everyone else I was disappointed in the rides, until a few years later when I brought my own two year old to Disneyland and DCA and suddenly the point of A Bugs Land clicked! Something magic for the smallest guests. From that point on A Bugs Land had a special place in my memories. Still, it has to be said that this is possibly the single most hated “land” in the California parks as far as rides are concerned. Most adult visitors or any visitors over the age of 6 would prefer to ride pirates of the Caribbean, or at DCA the newer Monsters Inc, Ariel’s undersea adventure, and Toy Story Mania attractions added to the park, to say nothing of Cars land right next door offering attractions that appeal to all ages. So A Bugs Land, once so absolutely necessary for entertaining the small guests, has become somewhat redundant - and now, just like its neighbor Tower of Terror (which was announced and under construction at the same time as Bugs Land - although it took longer to open) Marvel Expansions at the parks mean saying goodbye to another DCA area. It’s tough to be a big is already gone. Barely a trace of Bountiful Valley Farm remains,.. and soon Marvel Characters and Attractions will inhabit what was once the land of Flik and his friends. So, even though the land isn’t officially closing until the end of summer, I’ve decided to pop in to A Bugs Land for another Randomland Adventure, this time to say my farewells to the little land that made the kids happy. Doubtless I’ll pass through a few more times to peek before it’s gone, but I like to start saying my farewells early so that I can embrace the change and get excited about what’s coming next. Goodbye bugs! How about you? Did you like A Bugs Land or hate it? SHIRTS & HATS http://livefastdiepoor.spreadshirt.com This is a fan funded show.
