There is an awesome, free, little app for your iPad / iPhones that can do this very thing. 123D. In this video lesson I go through the process of how it works and create my own 3D scanned model. I also give Justine a crash course on how to use it in the hopes of creating a 3D Garcia (as we all want one of those). I also show how you can import this model into Blender.
