7th Brigade Combatives Tournament show their skill

Australian Army soldiers displayed their courage, stamina, initiative, strength and respect during the 7th Brigade Army Combatives Tournament at Gallipoli Barracks, Brisbane on the 19 September 2019. The tournament illustrated the importance of a combat mindset, physical conditioning and application of technical skills under arduous mentally demanding conditions. 2nd/14th Light Horse Regiment (Queensland Mounted Infantry) won the overall championship team trophy while Trooper Michael Moss won the individual championship. All Army soldiers and officers in 7th Brigade conduct combatives training, through the 7th Brigade Integrated Combatives Centre, reinforcing our contract with Australia that soldiers are experts in close combat.
