600km Brevet / Audax: ARA-München - Allgäu Rundfahrt 2018

My first ever attempt at an Audax of this distance, a 600km Brevet / Audax from Munich to...Munich. The route first heading south scratching the edge of the Alps, then into the Allgäu, then out west within touching distance of Bodensee (Lake Constance) in Pfullendorf and then back to Munich over a series of spiky little climbs. Hills hills hills, over 6,000m of climbing in total. Not the sort of ride that you should forget your chamois cream (I did). Music by The Doves "There Goes The Fear".
