Our collection includes a Natural Rec709 LUT, inspired by the industry standard Arri - Rec709, and four different creative LUTs. The Cinematographer LUTs Collection was developed using Flanders Scientific DM250 OLED monitors which feature full 12-bit video processing and are among the most advanced for on set monitoring and post production. The Cinematographer LUTs collection is currently available for: - Panasonic GH5 and GH5s - Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro - Blackmagic Pocket 4K Cinema Camera (BMPCC4K) We’re planning to adapt our LUTs collection to many other cameras, depending on the request. We’ll make it happen! The idea behind the Natural Rec709 LUT is to give cinematographers and colorists a better and more neutral starting point for their color grading process. It’s also a great tool for monitoring the footage during production, giving you an accurate representation of what colors really look like. Some other unique features of our Natural Rec709 LUT are: more pleasant skin tones, smoother highlights roll-off, cleaner shadows and overall a better dynamic range. It also works in any kind of situations, interior, exterior, day and night. Our Creative LUTs are inspired by some of the top high end commercials and they include two soft and two contrasty looks, one warmer and one colder. The Creative package includes the Natural Rec709 LUT. These LUTs are not recommended for monitoring since they are made to stylize your footage, but we still used our incredibly accurate Natural Rec709 as a starting point, so even if they are a little bit pushy, they still retain a lot of information in the highlights, shadows and skin tones.
