4 Strand Ribbon Braid Tutorial & Hairstyle

I love the look of the 4 strand ribbon braid but it was honestly pretty tricky for me at first. In this style, I use 1/8" ribbon to give it the accent effect. If you use ribbon that is wider, your braid may not look the same but will be still be cute! For this braid, you will have 4 strands. Strand 1: hair Strand 2: hair Strand 3: ribbon Strand 4: hair You'll start by crossing strand 1 over strand two and under strand 3 (the ribbon) Then you'll repeat on the other side, only this time you will cross strand 4 under and then over. There is a portion of this video that is very slow to illustrate exactly how to do this braid. Once you get the hang of it, it is fairly easy and is a fun way to add a pop of color to any toddler hairstyle! This simple hairstyle of stairstep ponies was inspired by Pretty Hair is Fun.
