In this video a use a popular and cheap digital tachometer (DT2234C-device to measure rotational speed) to measure the top speed of the Tesla Turbine that we 3D printed a few videos back.
It was also a good way to give the stamp of approval to the DIY digital tachometer we built using a photo interrupter and an Arduino board.
