3018 CNC - Spindle upgrade - No 3D printer needed

In this video, I showed you how I upgrade the spindle on my 3018 CNC to a 400W spindle. Link to the 3D design of the holder: https://grabcad.com/library/3018-cnc-52mm-or-55mm-spindle-holder-spindle-upgrade-1 My design of the holder for the 52mm or 55mm spindle (the power can range from 200W to 500W) can be 3D printed or milled very easily. The total height of the holder is 36mm and was to thick to be milled on a 3018 CNC. I divided the part into 3 pieces, each 12mm thick and was able to cut the part out nicely. After installation, everything was tight and sturdy. The Z axis moved up and down without any constraint. I also showed you at the end of the video how to configure your machine and Candle so that the spindle and mill at the right speed settings from the G-code. Happy milling!!!
