28x40 WS2812 display test

This shows a test of a 28x40 LED display made from WS2812 LED strips. The graphics shown are a simulation of a mesh of coupled oscillators (nearest neighbor coupling) rendered by a PIC32MZ microcontroller. Each mass in the coupled oscillator corresponds to an LED, and it's position is displayed by a color gradient. At a regular interval, one mass is displaced, creating the appearance of a drop hitting the surface of a liquid.
