25-yr-old techie commits suicide, blame IT layoffs - The News

A 25-year-old techie from Hyderabad who was working in Pune- first slit his wrist nearly 25 times, and then jumped off a hotel room killing himself. He was identified as Gopikrishna Durgaprasad, said assistant police. In his suicide note which has been accessed by MIRROR NOW claimed that he was forced to take his own life because of the IT slowdown which is seeing massive lay-offs in the IT Sector.
