The 2020 Tata Tigor facelift has gone on sale at a starting price of Rs. 5.75 lakh (ex-showroom). Even the front bumper is reworked with large horizontal louvres for air-vents and there is a redesigned fog-lamp housing which now also integrates a pair of new daytime running lights. At the back, things are more or less unchanged but now you get new colour options as part of the update. Tata Motors recently launched the facelifted Tigor alongside the new Altroz premium hatchback and the Tiago and Nexon facelifts as well. Apart from engines that have been upgraded to meet the upcoming BS6 emission standards, the Tigor benefits from some styling updates and new features. In terms of powertrain, the Tigor now comes with a BS6 compliant version of the 1.2-litre petrol engine. The petrol engine produces 84bhp/114Nm. Transmission options include the same five six-speed manual gearbox and an AMT unit. Prices of the BSVI 2020 Tata Tigor facelift are around Rs. 10,000 higher compared to the BSIV version. Bookings for the newly launched model have already been underway for a token amount of Rs 11,000. Like the new Tiago, the BSVI 2020 Tata Tigor facelift comes with an updated front fascia that seems to have been inspired from that of the Altroz. Hyundai Aura- Hyundai Aura Price: Hyundai Aura price starts at ₹ 5.8 Lakhs and goes upto ₹ 9.23 Lakhs. The price of Petrol variant for Aura ranges between ₹ 5.8 Lakhs - ₹ 8.55 Lakhs, the price of CNG variant for Aura is ₹ 7.29 Lakhs. and the price of Diesel variant for Aura ranges between ₹ 7.74 Lakhs - ₹ 9.23 Lakhs. Hyundai Aura Versions: Aura is available in 12 variants. Out of these 12 variants, 8 are Manual and 4 are Automatic. Hyundai Aura Colours: Aura is offered in 6 colours: Fiery Red, Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Alpha Blue and Vintage Brown. However, some of these colours are available in specific versions. Hyundai Aura Competitors: Aura is competing against Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze, Tata Altroz, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20 and Ford Aspire. They are priced between Rs 5.8 lakh and Rs 9.23 lakh (ex-showroom). Engine, Transmission and Mileage: It comes with three BS6 engine options: two petrol and one diesel. It is powered by the Grand i10 Nios’ 1.2-litre petrol (83PS/114Nm) and diesel engines (75PS/190Nm). Both are paired to a 5-speed manual and the 1.2-litre petrol gets a CNG variant too. Hyundai also offers the Venue’s 1.0-litre turbo petrol unit but it has been detuned to make only 100PS and 172Nm on the sub-4m sedan. The 1.2-litre engines get the option of a 5-speed AMT too. However, the turbo-petrol engine is only available with a 5-speed manual. The Hyundai Aura subcompact sedan was launched in India in January 2020. The car is essentially the second-generation Hyundai Xcent features updated design and styling cues, borrowed from the Grand i10 Nios. The Hyundai Aura is offered in 5 key variants – E, S, SX, SX+, and SX (O), offered in 12 different iterations depending on engine and transmission options. Features: The Aura shares a lot of its interior features with the Grand i10 Nios. This includes an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto AC with rear vents, wireless charging, rearview driving monitor, and a 5.3-inch MID in the instrument cluster. Rivals: Hyundai’s newest sub-4m sedan rivals the Ford Aspire, Honda Amaze, Maruti Dzire and Tata Tigor. While it is a successor to the Xcent, the latter will soldier on alongside just like the Grand i10 does alongside the Grand i10 Nios.
