I've fallen in love with the updated styling and body lines. The 2018 Toyota Camry SE has a redesigned grill with matte black cladding and honey comb inserts. All Camrys now offer LED headlights for high and low beams. The Camry SE has 18" machined alloy wheels with black accents. It also has more defined side rocker panels as well as a color keyed rear lip spoiler. All Camrys are standard with acoustic windshields for an overall quieter ride than the previous generation. Toyota has upgraded the Camry to the TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) platform for increased rigidity, quieter ride, better fuel economy, and performance. The big news is what's underneath the hood. An all-knew 2.5L engine with 203 HP (25 HP more than 2017) is matched with an 8 speed direct shift transmission. The engine is a dynamic force D4-S direct fuel injection that produces more power from the same amount gasoline combustion that the previous engine. That extra efficiency paired with the extra gears provide 28 MPG City and 39 MPG Highway. The interior is all new also. The seat on the Camry SE have more Softex seating area for a more comfortable and luxurious ride. The fabric inserts have been updated with a new design and softer feel. All 4 passengers now have automatic up/down power windows. Entune 3.0 debuts in the 2018 Camry and Entune 3.0 Audio is standard on the Camry SE. This new head unit is now standard with connected navigation via Scout GPS Link and now offers infotainment features via the Entune App Suite. The Camry SE is standard with automatic climate control to increase the luxurious and sporty feel. The only thing left to mention is perhaps the biggest upgrade of them all. Toyota Safety Sense P is now standard on all 2018 Camry models. This safety suite includes Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Automatic High Beams, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, and Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection. No other midsize sedan has anything that compares to this without pricey upgrades. You really must come experience this awesome vehicle for yourself. I can't do it justice in this video.
