Jenny reviews the latest 2018 Hyundai Sonata in its top of the line premium trim level. In Australia, the Sonata is available in 2 trims, the entry-level Active gets a bigger 2.4 liter naturally aspirated engine, while the Premium we reviewed has a smaller but more powerful 2-liter petrol engine aided by a turbocharger. This 2-liter petrol engine produces 180 kW at rather high 6000 revs, but also 353 Nm of torque at just 1350 revs. Even though it’s technically a facelift, some changes are pretty significant and they make the latest Hyundai Sonata a worthy contender car in its class against other medium sedans like the Toyota Camry and the Mazda 6.
