2018-12-29 - Panther Den Wilderness Overnight - Part 1

Hey Folks, This Old Goat headed back out into the Woods for an overnight at a location I've never been to before - Panther Den Wilderness. It's in Shawnee National Forest right along the River to River Trail and it is another 'step back & enjoy the buffet.' WOW! What a sight! Seeing pictures is one thing, being there, totally different. If you haven't been there - I urge you to go. Well, I can say that about all kinds of locations in Shawnee... Our Region is so blessed to have such natural beauty in a variety of spots in Southern Illinois. So, sit back and join me while I get my Goat On exploring this phenomenal location! Oh, if & when you hear me reference to Crab Orchard Lake, just pretend you're hearing Devil's Kitchen Lake...
